1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how MyKinkSpace (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use https://mykinkspace.com. MyKinkSpace is a free 21+ social community. We do not sell personal information.
Controller contact: privacy@mykinkspace.com. Additional rights for people in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland are in our GDPR notice. Cookies are described in the Cookies Policy.
2. Information we collect
We collect:
- Account data: email, password (stored hashed), display name, username, and sign-in identifiers if you use Google or X.
- Profile data: pronouns, roles and interests, about text, photos, profile header, age range, city / state / country, hang-out status, links, and privacy choices. Some of this is special-category data about adult sexual life or orientation. We process it only because you provide it to use an adult community.
- Content: posts, comments, messages, group activity, reports, and similar material you submit.
- Usage and device data: log data, approximate location from IP, browser type, and security events needed to run and protect the service.
- Cookies and local storage: session cookies and an age-gate flag. See the Cookies Policy.
We do not require government ID unless we later offer optional identity verification you choose to use.
3. How we use information
- To create and run your account, feed, profiles, groups, messages, and hang-out features.
- To honor privacy, block, mute, and visibility settings.
- To send transactional email such as password resets from privacy@mykinkspace.com.
- To moderate, investigate reports, enforce Terms, and keep the community 21+.
- To secure the service, prevent abuse, and debug problems.
- To comply with law and respond to lawful requests.
We do not use your content to train public AI models. We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.
4. Legal bases (EEA/UK)
Where GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (providing the free social service you request); consent (age confirmation, optional profile fields about adult sexual life, cookies that are not strictly necessary); legitimate interests (security, moderation, service improvement that does not override your rights); and legal obligation. Details are in the GDPR notice.
5. When we share information
We share information:
- With other users, according to your privacy settings (public, members only, connections only, or private).
- With processors who host the site, database, and email delivery, under contracts that limit their use.
- If you sign in with Google or X, with those providers as needed to authenticate you.
- If required by law, to protect someone from serious harm, or in a merger or shutdown of the service.
- With your direction — for example if you post a public profile.
We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. Visibility and your choices
You can set profile, posts, photos, location, age, roles, connections, groups, and activity to Public, Members Only, Connections Only, or Private. You can block, mute, restrict, and report. You can edit or delete much of your content. Deleting an account removes or de-identifies profile data we do not need to keep for safety, security, or legal reasons (for example, records of a ban).
7. Retention
We keep account and content data while your account is open. After deletion we keep limited records as needed for security, dispute handling, and legal compliance, then delete or aggregate them. Logs are kept for a short operational period. Password-reset tokens expire in about one hour.
8. Security
We use HTTPS, hashed passwords, access controls, and privacy settings. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for what you choose to publish.
9. Children
The service is strictly 21+. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 21. If we learn that we have, we will delete the account and related data. Report concerns to privacy@mykinkspace.com.
10. International users
We may process data in the United States and other countries where our processors operate. If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, see the GDPR notice for transfer safeguards and your rights.
11. California (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, and information about categories collected and disclosed. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. Submit requests to privacy@mykinkspace.com. We may need to verify you control the account. You may use an authorized agent as permitted by law.
12. Do Not Track
The service does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals because there is no consistent standard. We do not run third-party ad tracking.
13. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date is the effective date. Material changes will be posted on this page.
